THE ORIGINS
EST. 1999

A Brazilian adventure leads to the introduction of the Wish Charm;
Sehti notices a colorful ribbon tied around a friend's wrist, and discovers the Bahian "fita do Senhor do Bonfim" (ribbon of Bonfim) the tradition of tying a ribbon around one's wrist, making three knots, and with each knot making a wish. The wishes are said to come true when the ribbon falls off on its own.
With the addition of a small 14k gold rectangular charm stamped "Mine"
, a red silk cord in place of the ribbon,
and a few adjustments to the Bahian rules, the first Mine Wish Charm is born.
